Ole "Buddy" Hohmann
The following is an excerpt
from a recent article in the Oak Hill Gazette
(with a little commentary added by a few
Donuts :)
The article reads in part:
"Have you heard.... about the weekly auto show in the parking lot in front of Albertson's at the "Y" ?"
"I'm sure you have driven by on a
Saturday evening and noticed the many classic and unusual cars and trucks parked
at the end of the parking lot.
If you haven't stopped by and visited some of the car owners and examined the
cars, then do so. It is a classic car museum every week, and its free."
"We talked to "Buddy" Hohmann, the owner of a '37 Chevy which looked like it just rolled off the assembly line" (Say WHAT ??)
"He restored it and drives it around and shows it in the car shows across the state." (Yea -- Right !)
"He restored the car himself and loves
to talk about it. In fact, all these owners talk about their cars"
(When are you going to actually start restoring
this thing "Buddy ?")
